She was able to book an appointment for me within two days. I was very impressed with the service I received from the time I entered their upscale office. If you can believe it, I bit down on a pancake of all things, resulting in a large chip and one of my front teeth. it wasn’t the pancake because the problem, but rather the way my front teeth came down behind my back teeth, causing a horrible munch. Ha. I look like Annie Oakley. It was so embarrassing that she might imagine. This occurred on a Sunday so early morning, I reached out to bar dental to see if they could squeeze me in. When my son was home from Wyoming for a short visit, Dr. Bahr and his team went above and beyond to accommodate us. They squeezed him in last minute for a cleaning and a cavity filling, and to our surprise, Dr. Bahr was able to complete his entire treatment plan before he returned home. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Dr. Bahr is not only highly skilled but also incredibly empathetic, kind, and patient. They have been very kind and understanding with our children, we have 3 kids with High Functioning Autism our oldest, Anxiety, ADHD our middle, & Congenital Heart Disease/ PTSD due to CHD in our youngest. They are both understanding and helpful in explaining any concerns you might have with your teeth or your children's teeth. He was able to fix many problems that I had let go, for too long, and was willing to work with me and my insurance, to set up a time frame for the work I needed. He is one of the kindest, most thoughtful dentists that I have ever known. He does very good work, and the whole time he is working on your teeth, he is making sure you are comfortable and OK. I think he’s very knowledgeable, and helps you by explaining several options that would help you to reach the end result. Then, by letting you make the choice, about how you want to accomplish it, you can know that all of the options are good ones. Kathleen Anderson3 August 2024It's not an exaggeration to say that I hate going to the dentist. I'm 56 years old, and have endured a lifetime of terrible teeth and horrible dental experiences. I was the kid who had 15 cavities every six months. My childhood dentist was old and mean. Every visit became an anxiety riddled event. When I was 13, I knocked out my front four bottom teeth. I've endured broken teeth, pulled teeth, root canals, capped teeth, a dental bridge, and dental implants over the decades. Three weeks ago, I went in for right jaw pain. Dr. Segura told me I had another broken tooth and would need a root canal. He sent me home with an antibiotic and scheduled me for a follow up appointment for the root canal. The wait was drudgery. I dreaded what was to come. Yesterday was the day. I showed up a few minutes late because I drove past the building - probably subconsciously trying to delay the inevitable pain. How wrong I was. Dr. Segura was amazing. I didn't even feel the numbing shot. That's never happened before. In two hours, my tooth was completely mended. I didn't feel a thing. Last night, I slept like a baby. I awoke today feeling like a completely new person. I had been in so much pain for over a year and delayed, delayed, delayed because I thought the dental visit would be even worse. I couldn't have been more wrong. I'm so much happier today. My jaw doesn't throb. My head doesn't hurt. I'm not scowling or short-tempered. I'm only upset I didn't get this done sooner. When she came over she did not say “my apologies for the dalay” or anything like that. She just asked the typical questions and got started. I have never had a problem getting scheduled and the appointments have always been on time. The technology seems to be up to date and the office/rooms are always very clean. More importantly, I have never felt like they have pushed any unnecessary services, and if you are not happy with something, they will do what they can to make it right. The administrative staff always coordinates pre-approvals and insurance claims with my insurance providers and billing has always been accurate and smooth. I was grateful and relieved. I had xrays and exam with the dentist. He felt the inflammation was not an infected tooth, but rather a particle that lodged in my gum pocket. The staff was courteous and professional. They took time to explain the procedures and charges I would need to pay, not covered by insurance. They educate the patient about their current oral health and recommend a plan to help the patient mitigate any identified problems. Dr. Bahr and his hygienist didn't just give me a cleaning and an exam -- they took the time to assess and explain the current state of my oral health.
